00:00And we are back for Elk Coast to Coast on a Wednesday, a golf Wednesday on C2C, and of course

00:06every week we get you ready for this week's PGA TOUR event with the picks to preview everything

00:11from myself and the Prime Minister, Cam Stewart, back with us here coming off of, yes, a victorious

00:18golf Wednesday for Cam last week as Ludwig Obert with the big Sunday push at the Genesis at Torrey.

00:25It sucks, Cam, because we were all on him a couple weeks ago at Torrey for the farmers,

00:30and he got the sniffles and had to go home. But sure enough, he finishes the job for you this

00:35week. Congratulations, Cam. Thanks, Carver. I've been the weekend of the team, and K-Stew,

00:39good shout out to Keith Stewart and Brady and everybody else. We're a good team. One of us,

00:44we're going to get it done. Stewart and Brady are on a heater this week. These guys are winning

00:48every week, so we've got to add their picks too. Abra, also right from the flight there,

00:52and then he helps his team win the TGL, the Bay Club. Are they three and oh, Carver?

00:56Party time. Yeah, TGL, Abra right off. They showed him with the coffee. He had the coffee

01:01in the glass. I'm sure there wasn't a little, maybe a little snifter or something in there

01:05to go along with it, Cam. You never know. So this is one of those weeks, Cam, on the calendar.

01:11We just came off a bunch of big events, Pebble, Genesis, Waste Management, all these big events.

01:17So you get some of these lulls in the schedule before you hit Florida. The Mexico Open at

01:23Vedanta, as we go. Of course, the fourth year we've been at this track. Now, the first couple

01:28years, Cam, you had Jon Rahm and Tony Finau dominating this thing, but now with the way

01:34the PGA schedule has turned with these signature events, you do not get a big crowd down in Mexico

01:39at Vedanta, especially since Axe Batia is the favorite on the board at 14-1. It was Maverick

01:47McNeely, but I guess he liked that 2.2 million he got for finishing second on Sunday, and he

01:52decided to take the week off. So God bless him. The Hoyguards are here. Kurt Kitayama, Patrick

01:57Rodgers, who's been playing well. Samuel Don't Call Me Ben Stevens, Taylor Mary Tyler Moore,

02:02Michael Kim, Jagerbombs, Harry Hall. We got a good, you know what this is, Cam?

02:08Yes.

02:09Me and you, the grinders, love weeks like this because you have all, there's no big stars.

02:14There's no Schefflers and JTs and all this, and we could, this is a week where you win this week,

02:20Cam. You know what's going on. You know what you're doing this week because this is a tough

02:23week to do.

02:24You're right, Carver. One thing I know though, total driving, the guys who've won this

02:27tournament, they hit it big and long. It's one of those things, you just put it out there and

02:31hopefully your putter's good, but yeah, a lot of these guys like Rahm and Hatton, these other guys

02:35aren't there, but I'm going to tell you, I think we're going to hit it this week. I feel pretty

02:39good about some guys and core success, so let's get into it, buddy. I'm ready to rock.

02:42Let's roll. Here's where I'm going. I'm taking some guys at the top of my board, Cam, that have

02:47been playing well recently. I think that some recent success is going to translate here, and

02:53not only does Patrick Rodgers have recent success, he also, Cam, has some past history here. He's got

02:59top 10 finishes, has been in the mix, so 22-1 for Patrick Rodgers. He'll be at the top of my board.

03:04Next, Michael Kim. He's been playing well here, and as Smiley told us the other day here on

03:09Coast to Coast, he's been in a final pair at Vedanta for the Mexico Open, so we'll take him at

03:1425-1. Jake Afternoon-Knapp, defending champ, 40-1. I know I wouldn't play him, Cam, but he's been

03:20playing really well the last month, so we'll get Knapp in there. EVR, Eric Van Royen. I always

03:26like to take a shot with him in fields like this, Cam, because he's a previous winner, and he can

03:30make a lot of birdies, so I put EVR on the card, and then I went with two big bombs. Alejandro

03:36Toste at 100-1. Why? Because this guy can drop the hell out of the ball, and you know what, if he

03:43could just get his putter and his short game going for a couple days, maybe Toste's got a shot, and

03:48Joel Damon at 120-1, because honestly, Cam, I want to see Joel Damon win. I'm rooting for him this

03:54week, and he's had a couple good starts so far this year, not great finishes. Maybe Joel, who's

04:00won in the Caribbean in the past, maybe he can get something going. Good call. Damon can do well in

04:04this weekend field event, too. The guy's playing pretty decent with good players. I'm with you. A

04:08four-pack, and I'm going to add some of your guys, because I like Michael Kim, and I got him at a

04:11boost. So, Jagerbomb, I'm in. Lots of shots with Carver after the win last week. Afternoon, what do

04:16we do after drinking? Rolled now. We'll take an afternoon nap with Jake. You got a better number.

04:21I got 33. Matt Wallace, the crafty Brit, I think he'll do very well this week at 55, and this guy's

04:27been injured a little bit. Back, Michael D. Bjornsson, I'm looking at guys from Stanford who

04:31are doing well, like your boy Rogers. I'll take a shot with your Bjornsson at a nice price, buddy.

04:36Let's rock. We love the Thor. If we can get Thor involved, I might have to join you on Thor. All

04:41right, placements for me. I will get Bhatti involved somehow, Cam. Top 10 at plus 190. Harry

04:47Hall, now he's been cool the past few weeks, but when we had those events, Cam, where you didn't

04:52have stacked fields, Harry Hall was making his presence felt. Maybe he could do that again here,

04:57plus 330 for a top 10. Some good 20s for you. Ryan, crazy like a fox. Can we get him going at

05:02plus 250? Matteo Manassero at four to one for a top 20. How about Vallamaki? This guy finished

05:09second here last year, Jake Knapp. Should have won the tournament, to be quite honest with you.

05:13He blew it on Sunday. Six to one for him to be in the top 20, and then Davis Riley, that's right.

05:20Top 20 at plus 900. Has some good history here in Mexico. I love it, Carver. And let's tell the

05:27people, only one American so far in the season, Harris English, an international field. And you

05:32have a lot of your top 10s and 20s. It's a world game, baby. Let's go. I'm with you. But, Tia,

05:36give me plus 170 for a top 10. Hoytgaard, you let me down last week. Our Hoytgaard,

05:41we got both of them there. I'm going to go with Rasmus at plus 210. Kurt Kitayama,

05:45perfect fit for this track at plus 230. Top 20s. Watch out for Sam Stevens. This guy's been on

05:50fire, Carver, and you mentioned it. Very underrated. Michael Kim, I'm also going to

05:53sprinkle for the win. And Chris Ventura, golf detective for old buddy Chris Ventura. Watch
