00:00
Good afternoon, this is the last update of our time today, Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
00:08
This shear line is affecting the eastern part of the Northern and Central Zones,
00:14
while the ITCZ or Intertropical Convergence Zone is affecting Mindanao.
00:19
This ITCZ is in the middle of the wind from the Northern and Southern Hemisphere.
00:25
At the moment, we have issued a final weather advisory for the shear line,
00:30
but this shear line will still bring heavy rains and isolated thunderstorms
00:37
to Cagayan, Isabela, Apayaw, Calinga, and Aurora,
00:42
while the ITCZ will bring heavy rains, landslides, and landslides to Mindanao.
00:49
Amihan or North-East Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains to Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
00:57
The weather is better in Metro Manila and other parts of our country
01:01
where we only have chances of localised thunderstorms.
01:05
The low-pressure area that we are monitoring since yesterday
01:09
has no direct effect on any part of our country.
01:14
The chance of thunderstorms is low,
01:16
and the chance of our Philippine Area of Responsibility entering is also low.
01:21
Again, this has no direct effect on any part of our country.
01:26
Aside from this low-pressure area,
01:28
we no longer monitor other LPA or thunderstorms within or near our PAR.
01:35
For the time being,
01:37
we expect that the axis of the shear line will possibly rise
01:41
and only affect Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
01:45
For Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon,
01:47
the weather is better than expected
01:49
and we only have chances of localised thunderstorms.
01:52
The average temperature in Metro Manila and Legazpi is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
01:58
14 to 24 degrees Celsius in Baguio
02:01
and 21 to 29 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay.
02:05
23 to 33 degrees Celsius in Lawag
02:08
and 22 to 29 degrees Celsius in Maytugigaraw.
02:12
The average temperature in Puerto Princesa and Calean Islands tomorrow is 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:19
For the time being,
02:20
in Visayas and Mindanao,
02:22
we expect that by tomorrow,
02:23
it is still possible for it to rain in the northern part of Visayas, Caraga and Davao.
02:29
So, we expect that in these areas,
02:32
in the eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao region,
02:35
it is still possible for it to rain in the northern part of Visayas, Caraga and Davao region.
02:40
Our colleagues in the Regional Services Division
02:42
will continue to issue rainfall advisory,
02:45
heavy rainfall warning if necessary.
02:49
In the northern part of Visayas and Mindanao,
02:51
the weather is better
02:53
but there are still chances of localised thunderstorms.
02:57
The average temperature tomorrow in Mayilo-Ilo and Tacloban is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:03
25 to 31 degrees Celsius in Cebu,
03:06
24 to 33 degrees Celsius in Zamboanga,
03:09
25 to 32 degrees Celsius in Davao,
03:12
and 25 to 30 degrees Celsius in Cagayan de Oro.
03:17
We still do not have a high-level gale warning
03:20
in any coastal area of our country
03:22
but we should still be careful in the northern Luzon and Silangang seaboard
03:26
of our country
03:27
because the sea will be calm until the sea level rises.
03:31
For the three-day weather outlook of our main cities,
03:34
we can see Metro Manila, Baguio City and Legazpi.
03:38
Fair weather conditions continue
03:40
where in Maybaguio, it is possible for it to rain heavily
03:43
and in Metro Manila and Legazpi City,
03:45
there are still chances of localised thunderstorms.
03:49
25 to 32 degrees Celsius in Aguatan Temperatura in Metro Manila,
03:53
14 to 25 degrees Celsius in Maybaguio,
03:56
and 24 to 32 degrees Celsius in Legazpi.
04:02
For the main cities in Visayas,
04:04
we still do not have a weather system
04:07
that will bring widespread or not long-term rains,
04:11
so there are still chances of localised thunderstorms.
04:16
In Metro Cebu, Aguatan Temperatura will play from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
04:21
25 to 32 degrees Celsius in Iloilo City,
04:25
and 24 to 32 degrees Celsius in Tacloban City.
04:30
For the main cities in Mindanao,
04:33
in Metro Davao, it is still possible for it to rain until Friday.
04:37
But when the weekend comes, we expect improving weather.
04:41
Caguien de Oro and Zamboanga City still have fair weather conditions
04:45
but there are still chances of heavy rains, thunderstorms and floods.
04:48
Metro Davao has the highest temperature
04:51
possible to reach 33 degrees Celsius.
04:54
25 to 31 degrees Celsius in Caguien de Oro,
04:58
and 24 to 33 degrees Celsius in Zamboanga.
05:03
In Kalakang Manila, the sun will set at 6 p.m.
05:06
and will rise tomorrow at 6.21 a.m.
