00:02Here is our weather update on Friday, February 7, 2025.

00:08Today, we are experiencing a rainy season in a large part of Southern Luzon and Misayas due to the shear line.

00:16Currently, three weather systems are affected in the country.

00:21Amihan, shear line, and easterlies.

00:25At this time, we are not monitoring LPA, Low Pressure Area, or Baguio in our Area of Responsibility and in the Pacific Ocean.

00:41Due to the ongoing or continuous shear line in Southern Luzon and Misayas,

00:49we are still expecting heavy rains from now until tomorrow afternoon.

00:56We are expecting heavy to intense rains in Camarines Norte and Quezon.

01:05Moderate to heavy rains are expected in Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Matangas,

01:14Oriental Mindoro, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, and Catanuanes.

01:20Due to the expected heavy rains,

01:24our countrymen in the mentioned areas should continue to be careful and alert

01:32because there is still a risk of flooding or landslides.

01:54As of tomorrow,

01:56a large part of Luzon and Misayas will be affected by heavy rains.

02:02Heavy rains are also expected,

02:05mostly light to moderate,

02:09in Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Metro Manila.

02:17Heavy rains and thunderstorms are also expected

02:21in Bicol Region, Calabarzon, and Mimaropa.

02:26Please note that these are the warm regions of northern and central Luzon

02:32where the weather is good.

02:34You can experience cloudy regions up to cloudy skies.

02:39There is still a chance that the sun will shine.

02:43However, there are chances of isolated rains due to thunderstorms.

02:52Let's move to Misayas and Mindanao.

02:55Due to the effects of shorelines and easterlies,

02:58the whole of Misayas,

03:00as well as Davao Region and Caraga,

03:03will experience cloudy skies with a chance of scattered rains and thunderstorms.

03:11In the southern part of Mindanao,

03:13we have fair weather,

03:15but there are isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms.

03:22Due to the strong wind or north-east monsoon,

03:28we are still expecting high clouds

03:31in almost the entire Baybayin Dagat in northern Luzon,

03:36where the high clouds will reach up to 6 meters.

03:41Please remind our fellow Filipinos

03:44who are planning to move to this area,

03:47to avoid this area because of the high clouds and for our safety.

03:57In our 3-Day Without Look,

03:59on Monday and Tuesday next week,

04:03here in Metro Manila,

04:05we are expecting cloudy skies with rains.

04:09Most of the time, it will be light up to mid-rainy season.

04:14But in Baguio City,

04:16for the next 3 days,

04:17it will be cloudy skies with light up to mid-rainy season.

04:24For our fellow Filipinos in Legazpi City,

04:26due to the effect of the shear line,

04:28the rainy season will continue.

04:32Let's move to Misayas Region.

04:35In Tacloban City,

04:37for the next 3 days,

04:39the rainy season is not good news for these days

04:42due to the shear line.

04:47But for our fellow Filipinos in De Oro City and Zamboanga City,

04:52we are expecting fair weather

04:54where we will have a chance to see the sun.

04:59But there are times when it will rain,

05:04especially in the afternoon or evening.

05:09The sun will set around 5.58 p.m.

05:12Tomorrow, the sun will rise around 6.23 a.m.
