00:46So, for instance, you get young guys, girls, coming up and they write a beautiful song

00:53and they don't own it, and they don't have anything to do with it, and anyone who wants

00:59can just rip it off.

01:01I mean, the truth is, the money's going somewhere, you know, and it gets on the streaming platforms.

01:07Somebody's getting it, and it should be the person who created it.

01:12It shouldn't just be some tech giant somewhere.

01:20So I think you just have to worry about the rip-off.

01:22AI is a great thing, but it shouldn't rip creative people off.

01:27There's no sense in that.

01:29Why would a government want to do that?

01:31I don't get it.

01:32You certainly enhanced the world in many ways for hundreds of millions of people.

01:37We are the people.

01:38You're the government.

01:39You're supposed to protect us.

01:42That's your job.

01:43So, you know, if you're putting through a bill, make sure you protect the creative thinkers,

01:50the creative artists, or you're not going to have them.
