05:07If I'm going to pay a guy 50, 60 million, there's a certain level of expectations I

05:16I'm tired of watching this team score 80 points every five nights.

05:22I need a guy that's going to go and get me buckets.

05:26And Jimmy has always been a guy that picks and chooses when he does that to the point

05:31where you wonder where, what is he thinking about?

05:36Like you see parts of some of these games, you go, well, Jimmy, if you don't score, can't

05:39you see nobody else is going to score and he, he just won't.

05:43And that's what I've always.

05:45And that's what kind of has led me down a path of like, all right, then he's out for

05:51whatever reason.

05:52He doesn't want to be that guy because everybody else who has a Jimmy Butler or what we say

05:58Jimmy Butler is right.

06:00That guy getting you 25 to 30 plus every night.

06:04And then you were about the other guy has never scored 40 in the regular season for

06:06the right.

06:07So, so how do we, so how, how do you, you want to pay him and make him that guy?

06:15How is he really helping your shortcomings, which is at times third quarter?

06:25I mean, they've had more, well, that's why I don't buy any of the whole, I don't like

06:32You've wanted somebody to carry the offensive load forever.

06:41Have a guy carry for the regular season and you know, you'll pick your spots, you'll pick

06:44your games and then turn it on in the playoffs.

06:50Like, is that like, Oh, I heard he barely plays, but I'm saying think of where you have to

06:57go for another guy in the NBA that does picks his spots.

07:02You know, when you pick your spots, when you're old, because everybody else bringing it every

07:08So like, I don't look, he's a great player, but he's also a very interesting player.

07:14Like he's not your traditional, get your buckets, everything he does.

07:17Like for his whole career, he's done a lot of things that are just very smart as a basketball

07:22player that do contribute to win, but they usually result in averaging 25, 20, 25 points.

07:27I understand.

07:28He's not like those guys.

07:29Okay.

07:30Like I'm saying, even with Jimmy, Jimmy's always averaged 20 plus 25 points.

07:35Uh, no, he's not yet, but 2022, he's more like a, he's more like a 21.

07:43But, but, but here I'm gonna say about Jimmy, the same thing I said about Lamar, right?

07:50Both are great players, but as a leader of your team, you have to be aware of the circumstance

07:57and the situations going on.

08:00And all those times when it was ruts during, during the course of the heat, whenever that

08:06meant last two or three years, when they've been ruts, when you were playing, let's go

08:11there.

08:13Everybody's relying on you.

08:16They are paying you to be that guy that either gets it going or be that score when nobody

08:23else is scoring and to not be that aware of it.

08:27And then have a team score 80 points and Jimmy only took eight shots.

08:31It's a weird look.

08:33I understand like the, the names that he's going to go, like he wants to get to a place

08:36that's going to pay him.

08:37But like, if you really did stack up Ross for roster, it's like, okay, yes, you're going

08:40to go play with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.

08:42Cool.

08:43What the hell's the rest of the roster look like right now?

08:45Whereas as you have a history, you do seem like you have Tyler heroes on the brink of

08:49an all-star season.

08:51If you were just, and then you look at, Hey, maybe I have two, two really, really exciting

08:57young players who can be actually contributing in Jovich and where I believe this.

09:02If Jimmy was Jimmy of two years ago, and he was that engaged where Tyler Kalel, Pella,

09:10Pella, uh, Jaime and, and, and, uh, Jovich are right where all these guys are.

09:18If he was engaged, like he was two years ago, this team is better than a playing team.

09:23I believe that with everything, especially with the size that they've added to this roster.

09:29However, it seems like whenever Jimmy's in the game, people are uncomfortable to be

09:34themselves.

09:34Certainly the first game.

09:35And that was the case, right?

09:36Like they don't know what to do because they're so used to Jimmy being the guy.

09:40So, well, and also now you're in this weird spot where it's not, see, this is the thing

09:44that's, and that's the whole thing about the, that's weird about the role thing is like

09:48Jimmy, for whatever you say, like, I do feel like he knew there were times where he didn't

09:52know when to lay back and he didn't know when to turn it on.

09:55And right now it feels like it's almost like intentionally laying back and he doesn't want

10:00to get involved because he doesn't want to like crank it up for this team right now.

10:05So that's the other thing that they have to deal with.

10:06And then it is awkward because it's like, you almost have to spoonfeed them to make

10:09him, uh, active with all this stuff.

10:11Cause he'll, he'll be more than willing right now to defer because he doesn't want to go

10:16full tilt for the heat because they're not paying them well, even though they are not

10:19paying him two years from exactly.
