04:41situation that the teams that you are playing against that are on top are just so good that

04:50you're just in a bad spot look at all the teams that were around with jordan

04:56right like yeah all-time great so it happens it happens that you just happen to play for example

05:08paint manning and tom brady off right lamar jackson lamar jackson right now or josh allen josh allen

05:18mahomes right if you're if you're baltimore or you're buffalo does that mean keep firing coaches

05:28and changes till somebody get you over the hump because that dude ain't gonna never change so how

05:34do you go about that because we're sitting here saying the losing team has to make chance has to

05:41make changes and i don't know how much of it is you got to keep just putting yourself in that

05:48situation eventually you'll come on the other side but if you change there's no guarantee you're

05:54going to get back to but here's the thing that's just great though like if you look at what bill

05:57z has been able to do they were fighting with boston two years ago boston's blown it up right new

06:04york a lot of struggles this year toronto's talking like they're all scared they're going to lose

06:09marner and then maybe they're going to try they're probably the biggest threat to go get sam bennett

06:13right to try and say oh come on even though you guys trade even that you're like garbage he helps

06:19puppies and you have the audacity to say no you treated him like a criminal toronto but anyway

06:28public enemy they're probably going to shake things up right i just think it's very marvelous to see how

06:34the cats have just like completely run rough shot on this league and just been like who's next who's

07:15edmonton or carolina or toronto could do i don't know and and that's that's my point though is that

07:25you're going to make all these changes to try to get and win one more or two more games

07:32in in the stanley cup final and you're going to make these drastic changes to do that and when you

07:39do that what normally happens is you go the other way well let's not forget this is a regular season

07:46the panthers had to play with half a season no kachuk half a season or quarter of a season no ekblad

07:54right they are brought back like because the panthers had a hard root this year no no remember

08:00they lost what six six in a row and and paul marus was like this is exhausting we were we've been on

08:14in time in perspective this is dynasty already though right like kachuk says flat out it's dynasty

08:20three they need three they've made three in a row they've won two in a salary cap sport

08:24do you feel like i would say have etched themselves as a hockey dynasty already or do they have to get

08:31three if you get in a span if you get to the stanley cup next year then yes oh god then we're gonna

08:50very positive hockey is so weird yes that like man two of those games that they played earlier on in

09:02that series could have easily gone the other way it could have been three three or it could have been

09:07a sweep that's how close this was no they lost in overtime to toronto right exactly so if you get

09:14back to the stanley cup finals then i would say yes i'm i'm leaving room for sports to sports

09:23right like if you lose in a seven game series to a team and it's all one score game i'm gonna say yes

09:33still a dynasty right so that's the part of it that you need to wait and see how they play or

09:40perform you know in in the playoffs next year smithen says dynasty is at least three grow up

09:47three championships does it have to be a three pete or if they get back if in the next three years

09:52they get one more it's a dynasty with the same core with the same yeah which it will be yeah it's

09:57maybe like you know um i to be honest with you here's the thing that's scary

10:04as players fall off these young players who we forget about are stepping in oh i can't wait to

10:12see what mackie does next year and that's the thing that because okay say if you lose marshall

10:18mackie is very similar to some of the things he does and the way he handles the puck and the size and

10:26stuff like that jerry says three and five like the chiefs yeah i would consider the chiefs of

10:30dynasty you wouldn't three and five i would consider that a dynasty yeah i mean they went to the afc

10:36championship with seven straight years right sure that's it i mean yeah but but here's the problem

10:42who are you comparing the panthers to right because the last team that had this dominance was tampa bay

10:50right yeah and they won okay they won their first two and then lost right but here's the kicker

10:56who am i comparing patrick holmes to brady right yeah 11 straight what divisions but they had

11:05almost two dynasties right but i'm just i'm just saying like like so when when you say a dynasty

11:13in hockey you're comparing it to the most recent long period of stretch that's tampa right it's been a

11:21while what 90s since somebody's had that kind of you know or was it chicago chicago won but they

11:28didn't three pete i think they won three over like a five-year right so they go there the the blackhawks

11:34so think about that right when i'm talking about so yeah the panthers could very well be in that mix

11:41but when you say mention other sports when you talk about football no matter how much patrick

11:46holmes wins he's still not even close to brady i know and so like so is that a dynasty or

11:53right well that's why everybody was looking at him because they are grading him differently and

11:59they're like oh well he has to win three in a row like he's got to do something that brady's never

12:03done to even be considered and he wasn't able to do it um i would say i would say that to some extent

12:10what patrick holmes and the chiefs are doing is even more difficult because of the amount of money

12:22that's being paid to quarterbacks and to top notch guys and you have to replace more guys year after

12:29year so it's a lot tougher like and i don't know about you but you know any athletes taking

12:36uh team friendly deals now not many right so there's that whereas when you talk about

12:44new england everybody was getting paid so they could keep doing it which by the way can't if a

12:49team gets sold for 10 billion can you blame them right i mean right exactly
