Good morning from the Pag-Asa Weather Forecasting Center.
00:04
Here is the time.
00:06
Today is Monday, January 20, 2025.
00:11
In our latest satellite images,
00:13
we can see the continuous movement of the Northeast Monsoon
00:17
or this cold wind particularly in the Northern and Central Luzon.
00:21
And this will bring cloudy skies with light rain
00:25
particularly in the eastern section of the Northern and Central Luzon.
00:29
This is the area of Cagayan Valley Region, as well as Aurora and Quezon.
00:34
Meanwhile, we can see these clouds.
00:37
This is the effect of the easterly or the wind from the Pacific Ocean.
00:43
This brings clouds that will bring a big chance of rain and cloudy skies
00:48
particularly in the eastern part of Mindanao, the area of Caraga and Davao Region.
00:54
Meanwhile, in the cold part of our country, here in Luzon,
00:57
we can still experience isolated light rains in Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon.
01:03
Meanwhile, in Visayas and other parts of Mindanao,
01:07
we can expect isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
01:11
We can expect thunderstorm advisories
01:14
from various regional services division offices of Pag-Asa
01:18
if we can see clouds that can bring rain.
01:22
Meanwhile, until the end of this week,
01:24
there is a small chance of thunderstorms.
01:26
We are not able to monitor any low-pressure areas inside and outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility at the moment.
01:34
We are hoping that tomorrow,
01:36
there will be a chance of cloudy skies in the eastern part of Visayas and the eastern part of Luzon.
01:43
Here in Luzon, we can see a big chance of cloudy skies with light rains
01:50
particularly in the Cagayan Valley region and also in the area of Aurora and Quezon.
01:55
Basically, in the eastern part of Luzon, there is a chance of cloudy skies.
01:59
In the southern part of Luzon, we can expect isolated light rains with cloudy skies.
02:05
But generally, we can expect fair weather in most parts of Luzon except for our usual light rains.
02:11
It usually happens in the afternoon to night.
02:13
The average temperature outside of Luzon is 22 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:16
In Baguio, it is up to 23 degrees Celsius.
02:19
From 15 to 22 degrees Celsius.
02:21
In Metro Manila, it is 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:23
In Tugagarao, it is 22 to 28 degrees Celsius.
02:26
In Legazpi, it is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:28
Meanwhile, in Tagaytay, it is 20 to 28 degrees Celsius.
02:32
It is still possible for our temperatures to drop until February
02:35
where we will continue to feel the effects of the cold wind.
02:40
In the Palawan area, we can see isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
02:44
The average temperature in Calayan Islands is 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:48
In Puerto Princesa, it is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:52
In Visayas, we can expect generally fair weather with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
02:59
We expect tomorrow to be cloudy in some parts of Eastern Visayas during the Easter release.
03:04
The average temperature in Iloilo is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:08
In Cebu, it is 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:10
Meanwhile, in Tacloban, it is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:13
In Amihan, it will be cloudy and there is a high chance of rain showers in the area of Carraga
03:19
particularly in Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur.
03:24
In Davao region, we can expect rain showers and flash floods and landslides.
03:32
So, be careful in the eastern section of Mindanao.
03:36
In the southern part of Mindanao, we can expect isolated rain showers and landslides.
03:42
The average temperature in Buangas City is 24 to 34 degrees Celsius.
03:46
In Cagayan de Oro, it is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:49
Meanwhile, in Davao, it is 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:53
For now, we do not have high gale warnings in any part of our region.
03:57
However, be careful if there are thunderstorms that can cause strong waves.
04:01
We also expect strong winds in the next few days.
04:04
It is possible that we will have high gale warnings in the next few days,
04:09
particularly in the northern part of Luzon.
