00:15So they started out 19 and 4.

00:17Over that stretch, they attempted 51 three-pointers.

00:20That was first.

00:21And they made 19 at a 37.3% clip.

00:24Opponents attempted 35.3.

00:26That was the fourth fewest.

00:28So there's a big disparity there.

00:29They made 12 and 1 half, and they shot at 35.4.

00:33So that's 6 and 1 half threes per game.

00:35And so real quick, sorry, I was going to do the math,

00:37which I should have not done.

00:386 and 1 half threes, that clocks out to 18 to 19 points

00:48per game on the perimeter.

00:49That's a big difference.

00:50Since the Grizzlies game, which I'm kind of using

00:52as a line of demarcation, they're 9 and 7.

00:55They're attempting 47 threes, so four fewer.

00:58Still first, but a little bit less, making 16.3

01:01and knocking down at a 34.6% clip.

01:04Opponents are making 14, shooting 36.7,

01:08and they're doing it on fewer attempts at 38.2.

01:11So what was an 18 to 19 point advantage on the perimeter

01:15is now down to just 6.

01:18is they were 19 and 4 to start the year,

01:219 and 7.

01:23Back and forth.

01:23So that's since the Grizzlies game,

01:25and that's the one they shot like 60 threes,

01:27and they were leaving Drew Holiday open.

01:28They couldn't make any.

01:29OK, so hang on.

01:39So OK, your thesis, if I'm reading it properly,

01:43is they need to shoot more threes.

01:45They were shooting more threes, attempting more threes.

01:47They've dropped off.

01:48They've shot less, and now they're 500-ish, 9 and 7,

01:51over this more recent stretch.

01:53Is that fair to say that's your thesis?

01:54They're not shooting enough threes.

01:55I do think they need to shoot more threes,

01:57and people probably hate that.

01:59The offense has gotten worse when they've shot less threes,

02:01and there's more percentage that you can get into.

02:03But also, doesn't it sound like they need to defend

02:06That's sort of the key to me.

02:09were hitting a decent percentage.
