00:00Like, Drew Holiday really was, especially at a time where they go from, you know, Brad Stevens to Imei Odoka to Joe Missoula,
00:08then you have, like, a coach on the floor, having a guy that won a title, because nobody else on the whole roster had won a title before.
00:16Drew Holiday was wildly important, and it was like, Milwaukee made a huge mistake, because they saw Damian Lillard out there,
00:22they saw that Lillard was available, who in a vacuum is a better player than Holiday.
00:25But for that team, Holiday helped them win a title in Milwaukee, right?
00:30There was a reason why for years and years and years, Giannis would fail in the playoffs, then he breaks through with Holiday,
00:37they give up on him too quick, Celtics get him.
00:39Now, this past year, he was kind of broken down, and that's why I'm not kicking and screaming that he's gone,
00:44it felt like it was kind of inevitable that he was going to be gone.
00:48So in, like, the big, like, the history of the Celtics, you're going to look back and be like,
00:51man, Drew Holiday was only on the team for two years.
00:53But that one year was huge.
00:56I mean, he was, I think, probably runner-up for Eastern Conference Finals MVP, or at least he should have been.
01:02Like, he was really good in that series against the Pacers.
01:06And he was always just, like, a steady, calming influence on the team.
01:11Anytime the opponent would make a run, like, they would get the ball to Holiday,
01:15and I feel like everybody would, like, take a breath.
01:17And it was like, all right, we're good.
01:18And then he made Tatum and Brown better.
01:21And so, because there were years, I mean, you go back to, like, the Warriors final.
01:25I mean, turnover city.
01:26And, like, guys just couldn't keep their composure.
01:28I bet if Drew Holiday was on that team, they'd win the title.
01:32They absolutely win against Golden State.
01:33I mean, absolutely.
01:34I believe that as well.
01:35I think you do.
01:35Yeah.
01:35So, no, his ability to be a calming presence in those big spots, he's a winner.
01:42You know, I know that's a cliche that gets thrown around a lot, but he won before he got here.
01:45He won when he got here.
01:46I don't think he's going to be winning anytime soon in Portland, but I guess you can't rule it out with his track record.
01:52I don't think he's going to be winning anytime soon.
