00:00The Korean Embassy in Manila announced that the Korea-Philippine Free Trade Agreement will be effective on December 31 this year.

00:08According to the embassy, the implementation of the so-called agreement was made earlier

00:11so that the assistance of the two states for the next 100 years will be earlier.

00:18They say that this will be the key to deeper cooperation and investment between the Philippines and South Korea,

00:25particularly in the sector of industry, infrastructure, and energy for the development of the two economies.

00:32There is also a comprehensive scope to strengthen the market access of Philippine products

00:36such as bananas and pineapple in the Korean market.

00:39The contribution of the Korean companies is also expected to create quality jobs

00:43through extended investment in advanced manufacturing, including automobiles, electronics, and energy.
