00:16The production of factories in the Philippines

00:18increased by 0.4% in December 2024

00:22according to the Philippine Statistics Authority.

00:24This increase served as a wake-up call

00:27from the first downpour in November.

00:29The industry prioritized computer,

00:32electronic devices, optical products,

00:34and petroleum.

00:36Although this is lower than the 3.7% increase

00:40in December 2023.

00:42According to the PSA,

00:43the volume of production also increased by 0.2%

00:47supported by both industries.

00:51The new agreement of the Basis Conversion

00:55and Development Authority or BCDA

00:57in the sub-leases of CJH Development Corporation

01:01for the areas of Comp John Hay in Baguio City.

01:04The outcome is the Supreme Court's next decision

01:06to give the BCDA the right to return the property.

01:10More than 40 new agreements on residential leases

01:13have been signed

01:15and it is expected that their number will increase

01:17in the coming weeks.

01:19BCDA President Joshua Bincang assured

01:22that the agency is committed to expediting the transition

01:26and improving facilities, services,

01:28and job opportunities in the area.

01:33The Anti-Red Tape Authority or ARTA wants to speed up

01:36the process of obtaining medical and financial assistance

01:40for the Filipinos.

01:44announced the plan for 2025

01:46is of doing business economic briefing

01:48that aims to speed up the processes

01:50in government agencies.

01:52The initiative aims to make it easier

01:55and faster for the agencies

01:58such as the Department of Social Welfare and Development,

02:04PANCOR, and Department of Health.

02:05The plan includes expediting documents,

02:08removing unnecessary documents,

02:11and setting clear turnaround times

02:13to help those in need.
