Spicy Feral Cat Knocks Rescuer's Phone Out Of Her Hand

Feral mama cat is so protective of her babies, that her rescuers have to use kitchen utensils to help her care for them! We spoke to Ivy who told us how she managed to get the kittens into foster care and how Mama's doing now

00:00She was the fiercest feral. We saw her curled up in this little based flower bed with her kittens

00:08She's ready. She took off running. So we got her kittens first

00:13We knew that we needed her because they'd only been born that day

00:16We put her babies safely inside of a carrier so that they wouldn't be injured and we had to wait for her to come

00:24She started hiding under some cars

00:27But being a good mom she came back fairly quickly

00:43Here's mama she's reunited with her babies

00:46I didn't know how spicy she was gonna be and I just wanted to take a little video of her kittens

00:50So I just opened her cage

00:53She smoked the phone right out of my hand, okay, mama, it's okay. I'm sorry

01:00Creekside was so feisty

01:02We actually had to have a big ladle and basically go in and scoop the kittens up and get them over to the scale

01:08Weigh them make sure they're doing okay, and then put them back in with her

01:12Unfortunately, two of her babies didn't make it but her other two kitties Pebbles and Fern ended up being just the sweetest

01:28Eventually we sent them off to foster

01:35Creekside just wasn't warm enough for her

01:38Creekside just wasn't warming up. She wasn't gonna be an adoptable kitty

01:42We came to the conclusion that well, she'll stay with us, but she'll be one of our ferals here

01:55We love her so much and she's doing well. She is our girl
