This two legged cat was rescued from a hoarding case... now he gets the best zoomies at his foster mother's house!

00:03Legend, boy.

00:06Legend needed surgery.

00:08When he first came home from the double amputation, it was rough.

00:18Say hi, Legend. It's okay, buddy.

00:20Let's dry him up.

00:22Green.

00:23Not knowing what's going through his head and how he's feeling.

00:27So he didn't really want to eat in front of me at first.

00:29Or to play.

00:35I just was patient. I gave him the space that he needed.

00:38Go back to your little house. Okay.

00:40He was rescued three months ago.

00:42It's okay.

00:44Legend was one of 34 cats total that we rescued.

00:48Hi, Legend.

00:52I always foster cats in my bathroom.

00:54And that was his safe space.

00:56Every night, he had this cute little pop-up thing.

00:59This is how I socialize Legend every night.

01:02And I just have him on my lap. I pet him.

01:04I bring him on the couch with me where he still felt like he was a little secure.

01:09After a month, he finally started coming out on his own.

01:13Oh my god, you came out on your own, buddy.

01:16Good job.

01:19Good job, buddy. Good job, Legend.

01:21He was like, huh, I wonder what else I could do.

01:24Go, Legend, go.

01:25Let me try to get up on the couch.

01:45Me and my husband, our mouths were open.

01:47It was amazing to see.

01:49Now he is so, so playful.

01:56Watching him have all his firsts was just amazing.

02:01In the morning, I would go down and he'd be at the bottom of the stairs.

02:04The stairs are definitely hard for him.

02:21He has to expend more energy doing anything that he does.

02:24So once he goes crazy and has to zoom in for a little bit,

02:27he just kind of likes to relax on the couch and chill and hang out.

02:36Legend is up for adoption.

02:38I love Legend so much.

02:40I wish I could adopt him, but it would limit my ability to help the next Legend.

02:46I'm hoping that Legend's story will inspire someone to open their heart and their home

02:51to an amazing cat like him.

02:55I know the right person will come along.
