00:00Our little foster kitten did come without a mom.

00:04They didn't really know how to clean themselves at this point, and they didn't have anybody to nurse.

00:09I put them in my office with me while I worked, and then after a few days when we let Arlo meet them,

00:15he absolutely fell in love with all the kittens.

00:18He would come every morning into my office with me while I worked, and he would hang out with the kittens all day.

00:23He was very gentle with them, so I continued every day slowly, and then after about a week, I couldn't stop them.

00:30He didn't want to leave the side.

00:32He took on the mom role, and he would groom them.

00:36They would snuggle up with him, and honestly, by the end of it, I think they were sad to leave him

00:41because all of them developed such a sweet relationship.

00:44I just knew that we had to keep one because it made him so happy having a friend.

00:53Arlo and Maple especially, they were really close.

00:56She was the runt of the litter, so she was super tiny, and he took a lot of extra care of her.

01:02It wasn't upkeeping Maple for us. It was upkeeping Maple for Arlo.

01:09Now that Maple is full grown, honestly, I would say that her and Arlo are even closer.

01:16We groomed her constantly.

01:19They play together all the time. It's so sweet.

01:24I can't open a bag of treats, and she's like, oh, that's for me.

01:31It's super sweet to see the relationship has grown from her being such a tiny kitten to now.
