00:00I was doing laundry and my cat was outside in the sunroom and a little kitty cat right

00:08behind him dragging her front leg.

00:11I'm not really sure how that happened.

00:12I just looked out and there she was.

00:15I have a really soft heart for cats.

00:17I can't leave them.

00:19I scooped her up and got her in the cat carrier.

00:23You could tell she just hasn't been around people or if she was, they might have been

00:26the ones that hurt her.

00:31We went to the emergency vet and they said that it was broken completely.

01:12She's a little more awake.

01:51He kind of knew we were going to be keeping her.

01:58His name's Whiskey, so I named her Ginger Ale.

02:15We would just hold her and try and get her used to us and love on her.

02:18She really liked the kids and she liked me.

02:21We were not planning on having more cats, but having her here, it really just feels right.

02:30It's good that Whiskey has someone that he can connect with and be with.

02:42There's something satisfying when you can earn animals' trust that has been so mistrustful

02:49of people and you just really take that to heart and you try to make sure that they always
