Hello there. It's rain, showers or sunshine through the next few days. The
00:04
weather's a little bit more mobile, even so it remains fairly changeable with
00:09
some wet weather from time to time. In fact, through Tuesday evening we continue
00:14
to see a feed of showers across Northern Ireland, central and southern parts of
00:18
Scotland, northern and eastern counties of England. A driving wind across
00:21
Shetland and Orkney, some showery bursts here, but overnight into Wednesday
00:26
morning, clearer skies across much of England and Wales, away from Northern
00:30
England and also central and northern areas of Scotland, where we will see
00:33
some low temperatures. It's going to turn a lot cooler, so a chilly start to the
00:38
day come Wednesday morning. Lowest temperatures possibly down to around 5
00:42
degrees Celsius and even across the Midlands we could see temperatures
00:45
around 9 or 10 Celsius as we enter Wednesday. First thing on Wednesday
00:50
morning, you can see this cloud here across southern Scotland, northern and
00:54
eastern England, still some showers continuing. Brighter skies towards the
00:58
south as well as the north, but thickening cloud through the morning
01:01
will bring outbreaks of rain around lunchtime to Northern Ireland.
01:05
Eventually that rain will clip the West Country through the afternoon, western
01:09
parts of Wales and push in across the western strip of Scotland. Elsewhere, it's
01:14
a fine day despite a few showers lingering across eastern counties. You'll
01:18
see some sunshine and temperatures typically 20 to 24 degrees Celsius. Now
01:23
through Wednesday evening, this massive cloud and outbreaks of rain slowly edge
01:29
their way across Scotland, push in across the Midlands and northern England,
01:33
central southern England. Some persistent bursts to come as by around late evening
01:38
we'll see that rain arrive across eastern counties of England, eastern
01:42
Scotland and much of mainland Scotland, with some showers to follow. The rain
01:46
could turn heavy overnight across some parts as we see the winds pick up from
01:51
the southeast across Scotland. However, a key feature of the weather into Thursday
01:55
morning will be how mild it is. Yes, it will be wet, but temperatures holding up
02:00
around 13, 14, even 15 degrees Celsius. Showery bursts continue to feed in as
02:05
that rain clears towards the southeast and northeast of the country. And again,
02:09
the odd heavier downpour can't be ruled out. So through Thursday, this is the
02:13
picture through the morning. Quite a breeze, still rather muggy and in fact
02:18
we'll see lots of low cloud shrouding the hills and coastlines towards the
02:22
west with an onshore wind coming in. The cloud will break up through the
02:26
afternoon with some showers to follow as temperatures yet again reach 21 to 23
02:31
degrees Celsius. Now, Friday's looking like a quieter day. There'll be some
02:36
brighter skies around. Certainly that'll be the case for the central belt of
02:40
Scotland, northeast Scotland seeing some showers and Northern Ireland seeing one
02:43
or two showers coming in. They could just clip more southern and western areas of
02:47
England and Wales, but across northern counties you'll have a better day all
02:50
round with some sunshine and again temperatures rising into the 20s. So
02:56
that's the quiet weather on Friday, but come the weekend this low pressure
03:00
system comes in. It's a mature low, it will turn breezy and it'll be mostly
03:05
showers which will be heavy with the risk of thunder. In between we'll see
03:09
some brighter weather as this low drifts towards the north and the winds
03:14
will slowly ease through the latter part of Sunday. Still though, the chance
03:18
of some showers.
