We can see here in our latest satellite images,
00:04
the thick clouds in the area of the extreme northern Luzon
00:08
are the continuous effect of the shear line
00:10
or the accumulation of hot and cold air in the mentioned area.
00:14
Meanwhile, the easterlies or the wind coming from the Pacific Ocean
00:19
will have a high chance of clouds and scattered thunderstorms today
00:25
in the eastern section of Luzon.
00:28
Here in Metro Manila and in a large part of our country,
00:31
we will experience hot and cold weather again today
00:36
but it is still possible for sudden and quick rains
00:39
to bring thunderstorms from dusk to dusk.
00:43
At the moment, we are not monitoring
00:45
or the low-pressure area where it is possible for a storm
00:48
to affect our country in the coming days.
00:53
And to put our time today here in Luzon,
00:57
because of the effect of the shear line,
00:58
we can expect that there will be scattered rains,
01:01
thunderstorms in the area of Batanes,
01:04
and in the other area, Babuyan Islands.
01:07
And because of the easterlies,
01:09
this hot wind coming from the Pacific Ocean,
01:11
we will also experience a high chance of rains today
01:15
in the area of Isabela, Aurora,
01:18
and here in the province of Quezon.
01:22
For Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon,
01:23
we will experience generally fair weather conditions
01:26
starting this morning until the afternoon,
01:28
but it will reach the afternoon until the evening.
01:31
Let's expect the chances of quick rains
01:35
that will bring thunderstorms.
01:37
Maximum temperature forecast,
01:38
for the area of Lawag today,
01:39
it is possible to reach 31 degrees Celsius.
01:42
32 degrees in the area of Togegaraw
01:45
and 22 degrees Celsius in Baguio City.
01:48
Maximum temperature forecast,
01:50
for Metro Manila today,
01:51
it is possible to reach 31 degrees Celsius.
01:54
32 degrees in the area of Legazpi
01:56
and 30 degrees Celsius in the area of Tagaytay.
02:01
Here in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,
02:04
generally fair weather conditions are expected throughout the day.
02:08
Let's prepare for the rains that will bring thunderstorms,
02:12
especially in the late afternoon to evening.
02:14
In the early morning,
02:15
we have already recorded early morning thunderstorm activity
02:19
in some parts of Mindanao.
02:21
Here in the area of Zamboanga Peninsula,
02:23
Northern Mindanao, and Barm,
02:24
these rains are just temporary.
02:26
We expect that our time will be clearer
02:30
until the morning, until the afternoon.
02:32
But when it comes to the afternoon and evening,
02:34
the chances of quick and sudden rains
02:38
that will bring thunderstorms are possible.
02:40
Maximum temperature forecast,
02:41
for Kalayaan Islands and Puerto Princesa today,
02:44
it is possible to reach 33 degrees Celsius.
02:48
32 degrees here in Iloilo
02:50
and 32 degrees Celsius in the area of Cebu and Tacloban.
02:54
Maximum temperature forecast,
02:55
for Cagayan de Oro today,
02:57
it is possible to reach 32 degrees Celsius.
03:00
33 degrees in the area of Davao
03:02
and 33 degrees Celsius in the area of Zamboanga.
03:06
At the moment, in our ocean,
03:08
there is no gale warning that indicates
03:10
what will happen to our rivers.
03:12
And it is expected that the waves will be moderate
03:15
in most parts of our country.
03:17
However,
03:18
we still have to be careful with our fishermen
03:21
because if we have offshore thunderstorm activity,
03:24
the rains in our seas will be different.
03:27
We expect strong winds
03:30
due to the high waves.
03:36
In the next few days,
03:37
or at least for the next three days,
03:39
due to the effect or the combined effect of
03:41
shoreline and easterlies,
03:43
we expect a high chance of thunderstorms and rains
03:46
in parts of Luzon.
03:48
So, in a large part of Cagayan Valley,
03:50
Aurora, and Quezon,
03:51
we expect a high chance of rain in the next few days.
03:55
So, let's be prepared for possible
03:57
landslides and landslides
03:59
if we continue to experience rain.
04:02
For Metro Manila and the rest of the country,
04:04
these fair weather conditions will continue.
04:06
It will only be accompanied by isolated showers,
04:09
rain showers,
04:10
or thunderstorms,
04:11
especially in the late afternoon to evening.
