00:03This is our update on the upcoming typhoon

00:06inside our Philippine Area of Responsibility.

00:10Earlier this morning at 4 a.m., the center of the typhoon Julián

00:14was last seen, 400 kilometers away,

00:16east of Aparikagayan.

00:18This is still a tropical depression

00:19with strong winds near the center

00:22reaching 55 kilometers per hour

00:24and a storm reaching 70 kilometers per hour.

00:28It is currently moving southward

00:31at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour.

00:35Due to the rainbans of the typhoon,

00:38we will experience strong winds and rains

00:42in the area of Cagayan and Babuyan Islands.

00:45So, rains with gusty winds

00:46as we expected in the mentioned area.

00:49In some areas of Northern Luzon,

00:52in the area of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur,

00:55in the area of Batanes,

00:56in the area of Cordilleras,

00:58in the area of Abra, Apayaw, Calinga,

01:01Mountain Province, Ifugao,

01:02we will also experience heavy rains.

01:07For Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon,

01:09we will experience light weather.

01:12The chances of sudden and rapid rains

01:15resulting from thunderstorms are still possible,

01:17especially from afternoon to night.

01:19The maximum temperature forecast for today

02:36Makonakon, Palanan, Cabagan,

02:38Santa Maria, Tumawini, Ilagan City,

02:46was still in effect in the northern part of Apayau,

02:49in the cities of Luna, Puntol, Santa Marcela, and Flora.

03:37A large part of Calabarzon will experience strong winds

03:40as well as here in Oriental Mindoro,

03:42Romblon, Marinduque,

03:44Buong Cabiculan, Aklan,

03:46and in the northern portion of Antique.

03:48By Monday next week,

03:50we will also experience strong winds

03:52brought by the storm in the areas of

03:54Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan,

03:56Aurora, here in Metro Manila,

03:58Calabarzon, Oriental Mindoro,

04:00Romblon, Marinduque, and Bicol Region.

04:04In terms of rainfall,

04:06or the strong rain brought by the storm,

04:09for now, we will experience heavy to intense rainfall.

04:13These are the strong to

04:20Meanwhile, we expect moderate to heavy rains

04:22in Batanes and mainland Cagayan.

07:47lands in the part of Batanes.

07:51a high chance of rapid intensification

07:53within the forecast period.

08:01within the next 3 to 5 days.
