This is our typhoon update.

We are monitoring Typhoon Julian or Julian.

At present, the eye or center of this typhoon is in the coastal waters of Balintang Islands, Calayaan, Cagayan.

This typhoon has a strong wind of 155 kmph.

Meanwhile, the typhoon is at 190 kmph.

We are expecting this to move westward or near the Batanes area.

Meanwhile, the typhoon that is outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility,

like what I said yesterday or last night,

it is likely to have a Fuji Barre effect.

At present, the tropical storm Jebi is 2,010 km east-northeast of extreme northern Luzon.

It has maintained a strong wind of 75 kmph.

And here is our forecast track of Typhoon Julian.

We are expecting this to move near the Batanes area.

It may landfall or move near the Batanes area.

It may happen this morning or later in the afternoon.

As you can see, the typhoon is moving in a pari-curving direction.

Meanwhile, the typhoon will mostly come out of the Par.

And it will enter our Philippine Area of Responsibility again.

Meaning, the center of the typhoon will come out of the PAR for a short while.

And it will enter our PAR again.

It is expected that the typhoon Julian will come out of our PAR on Wednesday or Friday.

And here are the places that are under the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal.

First is Signal No. 4.

This means it is a significant to severe threat to our life and property.

The places under this are the Batanes and the northern portion of the Baboyan Islands.

Meanwhile, Signal No. 3 is located in the southern part of the Baboyan Islands

and also in the northern portion of the mainland of Cagayan.

On Wednesday, we are expected to have moderate to heavy rains in Batanes and Baboyan Islands.

Because of this, we should continue to be careful and know where to go
