00:10Well, another Chicago hot dog review is upon us.
00:16Yes, that's right. I am back in Chicago.
00:19And I'm going to review this place, Chicago's Dog House.
00:23Yes, that's right. Chicago's Dog House,
00:25located right by DePaul University.
00:29Tough season this year for DePaul basketball.
00:32It's been a tough run for DePaul.
00:36One time, they were a legendary program.
00:40Four and a hard times, but at least we can go to DePaul.
00:45We can go to Chicago's Dog House.
00:48Been here since 2009.
00:50And we're going to see if these hot dogs
00:53are like the great teams of the early 80s,
00:57or are they going to be the new DePaul?
01:01Just a sad, sad situation.
01:03Well, I'm here to decide that.
01:05Let's go and see if Chicago's Dog House
01:10is a grand castle for the tank.

01:31Chicago's Dog House, DePaul University.
01:36And the first thing I notice is some great coloring.
01:41I like this color.
01:42This color is good.
01:45Bun-to-dog ratio is close to being on point.
01:49It's not egregious.
01:52It's not perfect, but it's good enough.
01:54But I like this color.
01:56Now we're going to see just how good these hot dogs taste.

02:10First thing is the poppy seed.
02:14This is a triple.
02:17Very good hot dog.
02:21Now, here's the chili.
02:22Now, it does have beans, and it's got the shredded cheese.
02:27So let's see how the hot dog tastes.
02:29Surprisingly, no poppy seed on this one.
02:32But let's see how it actually tastes.

02:47Hey, this chili is kind of ordinary.
02:50I wouldn't say this is a great, great chili.
02:52Plus with the beans.
02:56I think there's a lot of things that hold back this chili dog.
02:59I'm going to give the chili dog a single.
03:03You know, this is a great hot dog, you know?
03:10Especially if you're like a college student going to DePaul.
03:14You drown your sorrows in a nice hot dog
03:17after watching that basketball team play.
03:20But the hot dog was solid, good charring, good taste.
03:25Another great Chicago hot dog.
