00:58Red Sox and the Royals.

00:59The Red Sox have been pretty hot lately, honestly.

01:01Their offense has started to get going against a couple regression candidates for the Royals.

01:05But honestly, that one is more of like a 50-50 to me, so I don't mind that.

01:09I like the Rays and the Cardinals, and God, let's pray for the Nerfy in Colorado.

01:16But plus 575, worth a sprinkle.

01:18Yes, let us pray.

01:19Yeah, the Red Sox lead in the OPS batting average.

01:22You know, many, many things.

01:24So, not on record, but, you know, somebody this morning on Twitter said to me something

01:28about Alex Verdugo and William Brayu, and somebody replied and said, well, Alex Verdugo

01:35is on the better team.

01:37And something in me awoke.

01:39I had not felt that, like, defending the Red Sox against Yankee fans in so long.

01:44I don't want to be like, if you look at the numbers, don't look at the record, if you

01:47look at the numbers, he actually doesn't.

01:50Red Sox are the better team right now.

01:52So, yeah, just so everyone is aware, it was like, oh my God, I feel like I'm 13 years

01:58old again, and I'm defending the Red Sox.

02:00It was a very awakening moment.

02:03So that was exciting.

02:44It is in the Rockies Mets game, it is Pete Alonso to hit a home run, hopefully not in

02:49the first inning, but somewhere in any other inning.

02:54He has one home run in his last five games, three in his last nine games, for 23 home

02:58runs this season against Ryan Feltner.

03:01He's batting 600 with a home run and two singles against him.

03:05Every time I bet on Pete Alonso in the past week or so, he does nothing.

03:09So I'm going to bet on Pete Alonso to hit a home run until he does it again.

03:13So Pete Alonso to hit a home run today.

03:15There you go.

03:16Don't mind that at all in cores.

03:18You were talking about the Red Sox, how you want to go off about that.

03:20The White Sox won a baseball game.

03:23Matt, congratulations.

03:24I was going to say.

03:25The White Sox, they won five to one over the Oakland Athletics.

03:32We finally won a baseball game.

03:37Our team is total trash.

03:39Anyway, OK, so.

03:40You never know.

03:41What if they win every game going forward now?

03:43They won a game, so they're back.

03:46White Sox are back.

03:47They have to win 12 more games to avoid being the worst team in baseball history.

03:51Can they win 12 more games?

03:52Maybe.

03:53I don't know.

03:54They go 13 game winning streak.

03:58That would be amazing if they somehow did that.

04:00All right.

04:01So for my best bet tonight, we're going to the Brewers and the Braves game.

04:05I'm going to take a Sandy and Harley here.

04:07You can play separate if you want.

04:08Like I always say, I give a couple of bets out, you can play them separate.

04:12Braves first five on the money line and the over seven and a half in this game.

04:16I really like.

04:17They look at the Brewers.

04:18They have Freddy Peralta on the mound.

04:20He's been declining.

04:21I think fatigue is starting to get to Peralta.

04:23If you look at his first three months, 346 expected fifth, a 22.4 percent strikeout to

04:29walk ratio.

04:30Very good numbers.

04:31You look at his last five starts, 4.45 expected fifth and only a 14.7 percent strikeout to

04:37walk ratio.

04:38So he's started to decline quite a bit, and I think fatigue is starting to get to him.

04:42On the other side of the Atlanta Braves are starting Chris Sale.

04:45As we know, both of our former teams, the White Sox and the Red Sox, have had Chris

04:48Sale on their roster.

04:50Guy's fantastic.

04:51He's a legend.

04:52He's probably going to win the NL Cy Young this year as long as he can stave off Paul

04:56Skeen's the hike train for him.

04:59Sale definitely deserves it.

05:00He's been fantastic.

05:01264 expected ERA, 265 expected fifth going against the Brewers in their weaker split.

05:07They're worse against lefties than they are righties.

05:08So I think he can dominate there against them.

05:11So I love them in the first five innings, but I like the over seven and a half here

05:14as well to end the game with at least eight runs because perfect weather conditions put

05:19on my weatherman cap again.

05:21We got temperatures over 90 degrees at first pitch in this one.

05:24The hotter weather always plays into more offense.

05:27Plus, it's looking like winds are going to be blowing out the center field at 10 miles

05:31per hour or more.

05:32So you got winds blowing out, you got a high temperature right there.

05:35Seven and a half just seems like a low number to me for the game.

05:38So give me the over seven and a half and give me the Braves first five money line here.
