00:00Some trains have started to resume operation on the three TGV high-speed railway lines
00:08targeted by saboteurs in France.
00:11The railway operator said repair works on the damaged facilities along the Atlantic,
00:16Northern and Eastern lines would take all day to complete.
00:21Saboteurs crippled the lines near Cordelais, another in Pagny-sur-Moselle, and the other
00:27in Croissilles.
00:57The fact is just that because of this issue we are not able to run the full schedule and
01:05now we have one train over three able to operate on the Atlantic coast.
01:11All the trains are operating normally but with roughly a one to two hour delay on the
01:17east of France and for the north of France some trains were cancelled but roughly the
01:23other trains are operating with one hour delay.
01:25So we have 30,000 kilometers of railway in France so it's a very large network.
01:32It's absolutely impossible to check all the points.
01:35What we are doing currently is some specific tour organized by experts on very targeted areas.
01:48The disrupted train services affected the travel plans of several participating nations
01:53in the Paris Olympic Games, including officials from the German contingent.
01:58Our team luckily is already in the Olympic village and everything is OK.
02:04But our board of administration, there are three people they wanted to join us today,
02:10especially because tomorrow at 9am competition for men's national team volleyball is starting.
02:17But now everything stands still and they are not sure if they arrive this evening.
02:25Tomorrow morning will be tough from Germany to take a train to be at 9 o'clock at our
02:30match so maybe they will miss the first match.
02:34Team officials said the railway traffic chaos may cause difficulties for fans to come to
02:40the Games, which started on Friday and will run until August 11th.
