00:00Hi, I'm Jamie Saunderson reporting for the Evening News and yesterday, just as the skies

00:05were breaking up for the summer, several holidaymakers had their travel plans thrown into the air

00:10by a series of cancellations by the airline EasyJet at Edinburgh Airport. So flights going

00:16in and out of Edinburgh were cancelled. They included flights to Naples and to London,

00:22several flights to London, as well as flights coming back in from the Greek island of Crete

00:27and from Dubrovnik in Croatia. Now passengers took to social media to vent their rage about

00:34these cancellations. One of them was actually heading to a wedding in Naples and had to

00:39change her plans at the very last minute. Now the airline has apologised and it's put

00:44the cancellations down to air traffic control restrictions.
