00:00Gordon Ramsay's Breadstreet Kitchen in Edinburgh has launched a new Sunday set menu and I went
00:05along to try it out. The menu has been launched across all UK locations and offers two courses
00:10for £35 or three for £40. There are three starters to choose from, four mains and two
00:16desserts. To start I went for the mussels and I made sure to order a side of bread to dip in
00:21the delicious cider and onion velouté they were cooked in. My husband had the haggis bonbons which
00:25he said were among the best he'd ever tasted. Four mains you can choose between a beef or chicken
00:30roast or if like me you don't eat meat you can have a slyriac wellington or fish and chips.
00:36Unfortunately the wellington was sold out on this occasion but the fish and chips which were
00:39served with minty mushy peas and tartar sauce were absolutely delicious. My advice to anyone
00:45ordering from this menu would be to make sure that you save room for dessert. My husband and I shared
00:50a sticky toffee pudding with milk ice cream and a cheesecake with cherry compote and pistachio ice
00:54cream and despite thinking that we might not have room for them at all we finished every bite. They
00:59were definitely among the highlights of our meal. It was a delicious lunch all in all with really good
01:04food and drinks and I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for somewhere to have a lovely
01:08sunday lunch with family and friends.
