00:19 struggling to accept Barisa Nasional's cooperation with DAP, but said they were in the minority.

00:25 Speaking to FMT, he urged MIC grassroots members who are considering boycotting the by-election

00:31 to think carefully about the matter, adding that a victory by Perikatan Nasional would

00:35 not result in a change of state government, nor would it affect the federal government.

00:40 Balasundaram said he has repeatedly advised MIC members to accept the current political

00:45 reality, which is that BN must work with the current unity government for the sake of the

00:49 Indian community.

00:51 Meanwhile, Hulus Langor AMNO chief Isa Abu Qasim admitted that it has been tough to get

00:56 party members and the Malay voters at large to accept DAP, adding that the party would

01:01 need to go down to the ground and explain the matter to them.

01:05 Isa said Langor AMNO's entire machinery will be mobilized for the by-election to explain
