00:00 How does it feel to be here this morning as one of our scholarship presenters?

00:03 I mean I went to school on scholarships.

00:05 I know what it feels like to work really hard for it.

00:09 And yeah, it's just fun to be here to celebrate some other kids.

00:13 What advice would you give to these young women who are looking to pursue careers in

00:17 entertainment?

00:18 Be yourself.

00:20 I mean, there's a space for you here.

00:22 It's needed.

00:23 I think stepping outside of a community that raised you that is not necessarily

00:28 the one that is always having a light shown on it or not being elevated.

00:33 We elevate each other and you're very needed.

00:37 Like you being in the rooms that you're in and being exactly who you are is what we all

00:41 need.

00:42 I love that.

00:43 That's such great advice.

00:44 For you, you've had a huge year with Killers of the Flower Moon.

00:47 Golden Globe nominations are next week.

00:52 No pressure, but as we move into the height of awards season, how are you feeling?

00:54 Is it...

00:55 Is there pressure?

00:56 Is it nerve-wracking or is it just exciting?

00:57 You know, it's all of it.

01:03 Pressure can feel like a really good hug, too.

01:05 You've been going to so many events to promote the film ahead of these award nominations.

01:11 Has Leo or Marty given you any advice on kind of dealing with the whole award season whirlwind?

01:18 Not particularly, but they do just provide a really good support being there and having

01:24 fun.

01:25 I think maybe the advice is in the action.

01:29 They just enjoy themselves.

01:30 They don't take it more seriously than is necessary, which has been nice.

01:35 Like they just set the tone for it.

01:37 So yeah, it's honestly felt way more chill than I thought it would.

01:45 Can you name a female-led TV show or movie that you love?

01:50 Female-led TV show or movie that I love?

01:53 You know, the only one that comes to mind, and it's just because it's one of my dad's

01:57 favorite movies.

01:59 He's seen it like probably eight, nine times.

02:01 It's Bad Moms.

02:04 I mean, I think my dad was a stay-at-home dad when I was in early childhood.

02:07 My mom worked.

02:08 She was the one that kept us going, and my dad is the one who stayed at home and did

02:12 all of the parenting in my early childhood.

02:15 So honestly, because society doesn't necessarily elevate the stay-at-home dad, but that film

02:22 like really cracks into the humor of what that is, to have everything kind of fall on

02:27 you to be with the kids all the time.

02:30 I think it took a really strong female-led comedy, which is like his favorite genre,

02:35 to make him feel seen.

02:37 So I just have a soft spot in my heart for that one.
