00:06Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are coming back for the sequel and on Friday it was announced
00:11that Diane Wiest and Stockard Channing will reprise their roles. But one actress left out
00:16of the cast list was Wood, who played Bullock's eldest daughter Kylie in the 1998 film. The
00:21actress took two Instagram stories to set the record straight after fans wondered if Wood
00:26could possibly return to. I'm getting asked about this a lot so I'll just clear it up now. I was not
00:31asked to come back and be in the Practical Magic sequel. I offered my services even if it was one
00:36scene or one line. I was told they are recasting. I'm sorry to disappoint the fans. It was not in my
00:42control or my choice. I would have happily rejoined my sisters. New additions to Practical Magic 2
00:48include Joey King, Maisie Williams and Sholo Maraduena among others. The movie directed by
00:54Suzanne Beer is currently in production and is set to release in theaters September 18,
00:582026. For more on this story, head to THR.com. And for the latest entertainment news and updates,
