00:00For you, it's not summer without the beach.
00:05Yeah.
00:05Amazing.
00:06Yeah?
00:06For sure.
00:07Okay.
00:07What's your, because of course music is a big part of this show, what's your current song of the summer?
00:13Song of the summer.
00:15I really rotate a lot.
00:16I love a lot of Dominic Fyke's music.
00:18I love a lot of Forrest Frank.
00:21And Benson Boone is just a classic too.
00:23Yeah.
00:23Yeah.
00:23And Claire Rosencrantz.
00:25I love them.
00:26A lot of good bangers.
00:27Yeah.
00:28This is the final season.
00:30I know a lot of people are sad, but walk me through that final table read or maybe that
00:34final day on set.
00:36The last, okay.
00:36So the last week on set is very interesting.
00:38We didn't know when we were going to wrap.
00:40Like the schedules were changing like every single day.
00:43So I was going to wrap on Tuesday and then I was going to wrap on Friday and then they
00:46moved it back to Wednesday.
00:47And so like every day was like a little bit of a tease.
00:50And then, and then not only that, you're having to like pack up your life and move somewhere
00:53again, like pick up your whole life.
00:55And so it was, it was hectic.
00:57Like it almost like came by so quickly that you didn't have time to react to it.
01:01Yeah.
01:02Do you think that fans will be satisfied with whatever choice Belly makes in the end?
01:07I hope so.
01:08I mean, Jenny's a genius.
01:10Like when, with her writing, she really, she really knows how to touch the hearts of the
01:16younger generations.
01:17And, and I think, um, I think she did a really good job and I, I hope everyone's just pleased
01:23with the story as a whole, like enjoy it for the story and the artwork that it is.
01:27And, and I think, yeah, I think it's impossible to be disappointed.
01:30Well, this is a very passionate fan base.
01:33There's been some Jeremiah slander online.
01:36What do you make of all the discourse surrounding some of these characters in general?
01:40And I know the show itself put out an anti-bullying statement.
01:43For sure.
01:44Dude, I think all these characters are going through insane growth and, and to, to fault
01:49someone on their mistakes is, you know, it's, it's tough.
01:53Like we're all, they're all maturing and they're all growing.
01:56And, and, um, I think it's messing up as a part of growth and, and that's such an important
02:02part of life.
02:03Like you can't grow up without messing up.
02:05You have to learn what's wrong, what's right.
02:07And, um, yeah, I, I think, I think everyone will be very pleased with the very, the ending.
02:13I think it'll show a lot of maturity.
02:15Well, people don't want to see it.
02:16And could you see this coming back in the form of a spinoff or maybe even a movie?
02:22I hope so.
02:23I mean, I would, I would love to see something like that.
02:25I think, um, yeah, I don't really know.
02:27I mean, there's three books, three seasons.
02:29It seems pretty like a done deal, but Jenny Han's, you know, she's a genius.
02:34She's a girl boss, so I never know.
02:37Who do you think would make the best spinoff?
02:40Dude, um, this man right here, Sean, Sean Kaufman.
02:44Uh, I think he's such a gentle soul.
02:46He's such a beautiful person and so talented too.
02:50I would love to see, I would love to see something from him and his character and his love and
02:54his romance and how he like all the things.
02:56So I would love to see it.
