The Straits Times Ɩ WWII bomb in Upper Bukit Timah destroyed in 2 controlled explosions

A 100kg World War II bomb found at a construction site in Upper Bukit Timah was detonated for the second time on Tuesday (Sept 26) at around 1.45pm, after more than 4,000 nearby residents were evacuated in the morning.
A blast from the first detonation was heard at around 12.30pm.
