00:00 The Tosha Khana case is a brief description of how he was punished, how the case was made
00:07 and how it went.
00:08 After becoming the Prime Minister, Shabaz Sharif called the journalists for an Iftar
00:12 and told them that a few Tahaif of Tosha Khana are missing and Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf
00:18 has stolen them and taken them with him.
00:21 In August 2022, a reference was sent to the Speaker of the National Assembly by the rulers
00:31 of the United Nations, that the article should be referred to the Election Commission under
00:35 Article 62.63.
00:36 And this reference was sent to the Election Commission of Pakistan by Raja Parvez Ashraf
00:40 Sahib.
00:41 The allegations in the reference were that cheap Tosha Khana were purchased from Tahaif
00:46 and after selling, this amount was deposited in the National Treasury.
00:51 The procedure is that first the amount is given, then the Tahaif is taken.
00:55 Here the allegation was that first the Tahaif were sold, then the amount was deposited
01:00 in the National Treasury.
01:01 This matter was to the extent of allegations.
01:04 Despite being a government, no evidence was presented.
01:07 In the reference, it was said that the income of the Tahaif was not revealed.
01:13 The allegation from the Election Commission was that the Tahaif were hidden in the form.
01:18 Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf, the form which was also deposited by PTI, it was not declared
01:25 in it.
01:26 This year, in which the Tahaif were purchased, the amount obtained by selling the Tahaif
01:32 should have been revealed, but Tehreek-e-Insaf or his supporters believe that when Tahaif
01:38 are sold, how can the asset be declared?
01:43 How can the Tahaif be declared?
01:45 The amount can be declared and he said that this is why this amount was revealed instead
01:50 of those Tahaif.
01:51 Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf also said in the Election Commission that the amount obtained
01:55 by selling the Tahaif was paid capital gain tax and this amount was revealed in the FBI.
02:01 In response to the election commission, Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf said that in 2019,
02:07 in the tax return, capital gain tax of Rs. 95 lakh has been revealed.
02:14 This was the case after which this decision was made in the Election Commission of Pakistan
02:20 and the case was sent to the court.
02:24 In the statement given in the court, Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf said that his military secretary
02:29 used to sell the Tahaif.
02:31 If the court wants, it can call him.
02:34 This was not said or what he said about Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf was not accepted.
02:40 In August, three to four witnesses were requested by Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf, on which the
02:46 judge declared the witnesses to be unrelated.
02:49 These are the cases that were raised in the case along with the case on different occasions.
02:58 But the bail given today is due to the fact that the punishment is less and no merits have been seen.
03:04 Now, if we take a look at the Tosha Khana case, it is known that the real case is a game of boxes.
03:12 Form B is there, which any member has to submit and in that you have to declare things in different boxes.
03:21 In this case, it was said, which we also call technical knockout, that if you put a microscope
03:28 with this severity and see who has made what mistake, then no one will be able to save.
03:33 It was said why was it written in this box, why did you leave the other box empty?
03:37 If the documents that have been submitted, there are three different years, from 2017 to
03:42 2018, 2018 to 2019 and 2019 to 2020.
03:45 These are the three years whose false declarations, where something was taken from Tosha Khana
03:51 and the judge said that this is a false declaration.
03:54 Three big items were taken from 2017 to 2018.
03:57 You will remember the watches, about which everyone says that a picture of Khana Kaaba was made on it.
04:02 They were sold.
04:04 The opinion of Tariq-e-Insaf is that before becoming the Prime Minister of 2017-18,
04:11 Chairman Tariq-e-Insaf had given a tax of approximately 2.5 lakhs, but in 2018-19,
04:17 this tax suddenly increased to 95 lakhs and the court will be told that the profit that
04:23 was made due to selling these watches, the capital gain tax that was made in that profit
04:28 was given to the FBR.
04:31 That is why the watches were not displayed in Form B because the watches had been sold
04:37 before the year was over.
04:39 But because bank accounts were present and the tax was given to the FBR,
04:44 so the chairman of Tariq-e-Insaf did not try to hide this money or this asset.
04:52 And this is also clear in the documents of the FBR.
04:55 The court did not accept this.
04:57 They said that not writing the investigation in Form B in 2018-19 is a false statement.
05:05 And the difference between Chairman Tariq-e-Insaf and the tax of 2017-18-19,
05:11 this difference was due to the sale of the watch, and even after that, the tax of 2.5 lakhs
05:18 in the previous year, in the middle of the year, it was 95 lakhs, 94 lakhs, and then again
05:23 in the next year, it was 2.5 lakhs, that was due to the sale of the watch, but the court
05:28 did not accept this argument.
05:30 In the case of 2020, Chairman Tariq-e-Insaf said that the taif that was obtained,
05:35 he gifted it later.
05:37 That is why it was not shown in the documents.
05:40 The court did not accept this either.
05:42 The documents of 2019-20 were declared as a false declaration in Form B.
05:49 The documents of 2020-21, he showed them in a precious item in a mug,
05:59 which is not present in Form B, but Chairman Tariq-e-Insaf's booklet showed it in that mug.
06:07 The court did not accept this argument either.
06:10 And in the decision it was written that there is no item in the name of the form,
06:14 if I read the decision and read the words, that there is no item in the name of the precious item,
06:21 and the accused wrote this item himself, whereas the accused actually had to write
06:26 the item in the room of Assets Brought and Remitted.
06:30 And on this basis, his declaration of this year was also declared as false.
06:35 So, all these three things, his three-year declarations, on technical grounds,
06:40 were declared as false in Form B and he was sentenced to three years in prison.
06:45 Today, when he was ordered to be released from prison, he was sentenced in another case.
06:52 This is also a new tradition in our politics.
06:56 If you look at the past, there are many politicians who were arrested despite being granted bail at different times.
07:07 If you look at Parvez Elahi, he was arrested five times for corruption cases,
07:12 and every time he was arrested again despite being granted bail.
07:16 Shah Mahmood Qureshi was arrested twice for 9 May incidents,
07:20 and he was released after being granted bail for a few days.
07:23 On 19 August, he was arrested again for the Cipher case.
07:26 Ali Muhammad Khan, a former MNA of Pakistan Justice Movement,
07:30 was arrested seven times, and he was arrested again whenever he was granted bail.
07:35 Shiri Muzari Sahiba was arrested four times for 9 May incidents,
07:40 and she was released for the last time after being granted bail for undertaking in court.
07:45 Musarra Jamshed Cheema Sahiba was arrested twice.
07:48 She was released on 20 May through a press conference.
07:51 Asad Umar Sahab was arrested twice for 9 May incidents,
07:54 and he was released after a press conference.
07:58 Malika Bukhari Sahiba was arrested twice.
08:01 Shariar Afridi Sahab was arrested on 16 May for 3 MPOs.
08:05 He was arrested 10 times, and he is still in prison.
08:09 So this is a trend that whoever is arrested,
08:13 if they are released, they are arrested in any other case.
08:17 This is the case of Chairman Tariq Khan.
08:19 He has just been arrested for the Cipher case.
08:22 He will be on remand for 13-14 days.
08:24 Then there are cases of NAB, Al-Qadar Trust.
08:28 There will be other cases where he can be arrested for 30 days and kept in jail.
08:34 It seems that he will be in jail for 2-3 months, 4 months, in different cases.
