A fundraising page to four boy who died in a freezing lake has raised more than £10,000 in a matter of hours. Jack Johnson, 10, passed away after bravely trying to save the three others - the youngest of which, a boy aged six, sadly lost his fight on Wednesday.
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of his wife. Police were called to an address in Oldbury finding Cynthia Turner with serious injuries. Legitte Reid, aged 55, appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court and will be remanded into custody until his trial next September.
Mostly Jazz, Funk and Soul festival has announced the first acts set for next years event. Fat Freddy's Drop & Goldie will be headlining the annual event which takes place at Moseley Park. Further line-up additions will be announced in the New Year.
