00:00I think the essential thing is that this country has always been a country of immigration.
00:06As a caring professional, I have sympathy for people who feel the need to leave a country
00:11and drag their children halfway across the world to look for a better life.
00:16I think there probably is issues, I'm sure there's issues that need dealing with involving the government,
00:22but I think on a human level you have to be compassionate to fellow humans.
00:26The protesters are maybe out of line, but why aren't we looking at our homeless that are on the streets in this country?
00:34In terms of accommodation and the hotels, I think we're in a really tricky situation in this country
00:41where we don't have enough accommodation in general.
00:44We've got too many people who oppose building houses, we've got too little skill.
00:49I think if we were much more forward thinking and we had planned for this years ago,
00:56we would have better infrastructure, better housing.
