SMELLA, from Australia, describes their look as a 'Neon Monster'. Smella's obsession with everything Neon started after a trip to Japan at 15, which is where they fell in love with the eclectic fashion and bright colours on show. Smella told Truly: "I do try and look less human if I can, so more monstery and cat-like. I love anything kind of sharp and a little bit threatening... Whilst still being neon." Today Smella will be stepping out of their comfort zone and will be transformed into a 'Basic Belle'. Smella's partner and best friend have never seen them dressed in anything but Neon, so today might just be the shock of a lifetime. Will Smella be pleasantly surprised by the new look and leave the 'Neon Monster' obsession behind? Or will they hate the basic and 'normal' colours they will be dressed in?
