The officials were alerted and stopped the release of water | ఎగువన కురుస్తున్న వర్షాలతో కృష్ణానదికి వరద పోటెత్తడంతో నాగార్జునసాగర్ వద్ద వరద ఉధృతి బాగా పెరిగింది. వరద ఉధృతి కారణంగా నాగార్జునసాగర్ ఎడమ కాలువకు గండి పడింది. దీంతో వందల ఎకరాల్లో పంట నష్టం జరిగింది.
