Chana Stuffed Fingers or Ponga Pandit is a Chaat recipe which is made of Fryums stuffed with a tangy Chana filling. It is a rustic and old snack recipe which never went out of style. It is a children favourite.
2 tbsp Oil ½ Mustard seeds ½ Cumin seeds 1 Onion (finely chopped) ½ Tsp Ginger-Garlic paste 1 Tomato (finely chopped) ½ tsp Turmeric powder ½ tsp Red Chilli powder½ ½ tsp Garam Masala powder ½ tsp Coriander seeds powder Coriander leaves (finely chopped) 1 cup Black Chickpeas (boiled with Salt and Oil) 1 cup Water ½ tsp Salt Oil (for deep frying) Finger Fryums Onions (chopped) Coriander seeeds (chopped) Farsan ¼ tsp Tomato Sauce, a pinch of Chaat Masala Farsan (for coating) Chaat Masala (for garnish)
