Turai Ki Chutney | Ridge Gourd Chutney| Beerakaya Pachadi
Tangy Ridge Gourd or Turai chutney.It goes really well with dosa,idli,rice and parathas.Make it once and you will make it over and over again.It is very famous in South India.
Ingredients: Dry masala Oil - 1 tbsp Mustard(Rai) - tsp Cumin(JIRA)- 1 tsp Methi(Fenugreek seeds)- 1/2 tsp Asafoetida(Hing) - 1/4 tsp Split Black Gram(Urad Dal) -1 tbsp Split Chickpeas(Chana Dal) - 1 tbsp Dry Red Chillies - to taste
Chutney Oil - tbsp Green chillies - to taste Curry leaves - few Ridge gourd(Turai) - 1 diced Turmeric(Haldi) - 1/2 tsp Salt- to taste Tamarind(Imli) -1 tbsp (More if you like) Coriander - 1 tbsp
