That estimate is according to Seoul's culture ministry... on the cumulative economic value generated by the 28-year-old Tottenham Hotspur striker in multiple aspects, including exports and advertisements.
It says Son contributed the most in inducing production... and creating intangible value such as hope and inspiration for the South Korean people.
It adds his economic effect is likely to grow along with his value as a football player.
