Economies hit hardest by the pandemic may recover this year. According to Bloomberg on Friday, investment banks forecast global GDP to grow at an average of 5-point-2 percent in 2021. Among the 37 banks and institutions that projected this year's growth, Goldman Sachs showed the highest figure with 6-point-3 percent. That would be a significant rebound from last year... when the economic growth rate was minus 3-point-8 percent. China's forecast displays the largest growth with 8-point-2 percent... followed by France at 6-point-1 and the UK's 5-point-4 percent. South Korea was projected to expand by 3-point-2 percent.
