U.S. reaffirms commitment to complete denuclearization of N. Korea with Seoul

U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun reaffirmed his country's commitment to coordinating North Korea's denuclearization efforts with South Korea.
The State Department said Friday that Seoul and Washington confirmed their continued commitment to complete denuclearization of the regime during Biegun's visit to Seoul this week.
The department added that the top U.S. envoy also expressed appreciation for Seoul's continued partnership in response to COVID-19.
Biegun and South Korean officials, including Seoul's nuclear envoy Lee Do-hoon, discussed how to ensure the Seoul-Washington alliance could continue to face challenges for the next 70 years.
