Whole world should benefit from COVID-19 vaccine: WHO chief

The head of the World Health Organization has stressed that all countries must benefit from the development of COVID-19 vaccines.
During the WHO annual assembly on Friday, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus hailed the progress in vaccine development by U.S. pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech.
The WHO chief also said we should think of COVID-19 vaccines as "global public goods".
He added that a "globally-agreed system" is in urgent need as the world cannot wait for bilateral agreements,...which could take years to negotiate.
