S. Korea FM says Seoul in talks with Beijing for Xi Jinping to visit soon

Seoul has been in continuous communication with Beijing to arrange Chinese President Xi Jinping's Seoul visit at an early date.
On her way back home from Washington,... she told reporters that although they have not settled on an exact date... the two sides do plan to do so as soon as the COVID-19 situation gets under control.
There has been speculation that President Xi might come to South Korea before the end of the year.
Kang added that, while in Washington,... she fully explained the South Korean government's stance on the Korean peace process to U.S. lawmakers.
While there, she met with people close to the President-elect Joe Biden.
