More students in South Koreawill be returning to their classrooms, as the government has eased social distancing measures to Level One across the nation.
The education ministry said Sunday that elementary, middle and high schools will be permitted to have two-thirds of students back in classrooms.
Under special circumstances, some schools will be allowed to fully reopen.
However, schools in the Seoul metropolitan area or those with large student populations will have to adhere to strict restrictions on physical attendances.
Under the stricter Level Two policy,... only one-third students were able to attend in-person classes with the exception of high schoolers.
The eased measures will take effect from October 19th.
Meanwhile, large cram schools with more than 300 students will be allowed to resume classes from this coming Monday.
