President Moon Jae-in says South Korea will play a role to give people courage and pride during difficult times. Taking to his social media on Monday to mark 'World Korean Day' President Moon noted the contributions of the 7-point-5 million overseas Koreans to the development of their home country. He has taken part in an event to mark the day in-person every year since taking office,... but this time it was put off due to COVID-19. The president also thanked Koreans abroad for sending donations and quarantine equipment saying it displayed cooperation and unity. He vowed to step up cooperation with the international community for a joint response against infectious diseases.
