S. Korea, Japan leaders agree to cooperate in fight against COVID-19

President Moon Jae-in spoke on the phone today for the first time with Japan's new Prime Minister, Yoshihide Suga, and they agreed to worth together in stopping the pandemic.
During their 20-minute conversation, President Moon stressed that the two countries need to encourage and support their people in combating the virus.
Prime Minister Suga praised Moon's leadership during the pandemic.
This was the first time the leaders of the two countries have spoken since Moon met with former Prime Minister Abe at a three-way summit with China last December.
