More people visiting Korean Cultural Center New York website amid COVID-19 pandemic

The spread of the Korean wave, also known as Hallyu, has picked up pace online amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the Korean Cultural Center New York, the monthly-average number of web page visitors has increased to 30-thousand this year from 10-thousand during the previous year.
From January to August, 500-thousand people visited the website, which is a four times increase on-year.
The center opened a new section on their web page in April where it features more Korean cultural content related to concerts, exhibitions, Korean food and movies.
Particularly, a special exhibition of Korean movies that aired from April to July has been watched by more than 25-thousand people.
