A Swiss soccer task force launch probe of Franz Beckenbauer and other German soccer officials for evidence of criminal financial mismanagement and fraud. The task force is examining the allocation of money around the organizational committee of Germany's 2006 World Cup, not the allocation of the 2006 World Cup to Germany.
