Germany rejects Trump's proposal to let Russia back into G7

Germany has rejected U.S. President Donald Trump's proposal to invite Russia back into the G7.
President Trump had proposed the idea of reintroducing Russia into the G7 last month.
Russia had been excluded from the group in 2014 for its annexation of Crimea and intervention in eastern Ukraine.
German Foreign Minister Heiko Mass says he sees no chance for Russia joining the group again as long as they do not have a solution to the problem.
In regards to Trump's proposal of expanding the participants of the G7, the minister said they do not need more members and the G7 and G20 are two sensibly coordinated formats.
