The South Korean government is going to launch a new ministry-wide strategic council to oversee the implementation of the country's New Deal initiative. The Blue House said Sunday that President Moon Jae-in will be chairing meetings once or twice each month. They will start after President Moon unveils a comprehensive blueprint for the New Deal project on Tuesday. Another body made up of government officials and ruling party lawmakers will also be formed to support the pan-ministry council.
