S. Korea to ease virus prevention measures to Level 1 from Monday

South Korea has lowered its COVID-19 prevention measures to Level One as the long autumn holiday period comes to an end.
Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun on Sunday announced that the current Level Two social distancing policy will be eased as of Monday,... as the average number of daily infections has remained at around 60 or fewer for the past two weeks.
However, the Seoul capital area will retain precautionary measures...while door-to-door sales and multi-use facilities including cafes and restaurants are to adhere to distancing regulations.
Quarantine authorities will strengthen prevention measures at major tourist venues...people are advised not to travel in large groups...and to always wear a mask.
South Korea on Sunday reported 58 new cases of COVID-19,... bringing the accumulated total to 24-thosuand-606.
There were two additional deaths,... raising the death toll to 432.
