WHO hopeful COVID-19 vaccines could be developed before end of 2020

The World Health Organization says it's optimistic one or two COVID-19 vaccines could be developed by the end of 2020.
A senior official from the agency said on Thursday that while vaccine development can be an uncertain business,... researchers around the world are currently working on more than 200 vaccine candidates.
The official added that two billion vaccine doses could be produced by end of next year and once a vaccine is approved,... the WHO will give priority to frontline workers such as medical staff, the elderly and those with underlying illnesses.
